Protocol: CT.gov Sponsor Backlog Concentration

This protocol ranks lead sponsors by the volume of eligible older studies missing posted results. Primary outputs estimate the share of the backlog held by the top 1 percent, top 5 percent, top 10 percent, and selected named sponsor slices, alongside the sponsor-level Gini coefficient. Secondary outputs identify the largest named sponsors on both missing-results stock and ghost-protocol stock. The project is designed to make concentration legible without collapsing different sponsor classes into a single blame category.
