Search · multi-source literature retrieval

One query across Europe PMC (PubMed + more, with abstracts), Crossref, OpenAlex and ClinicalTrials.gov. Cross-source dedup, then a one-click handoff into Screen. Free, browser-only — queries hit the public APIs directly from your machine; results stay on your device.

What to do on this page — find the studies

Search several databases at once, then send the results to Screening.

  1. Type your question or keywords (or Load PICO from Design). Optionally Expand query for synonyms.
  2. Pick the sources to search and run Search; use Snowball to chase citations for extra recall.
  3. Skim the results (click a row to read its abstract); duplicates across sources are merged for you.
  4. Click Send to Screen to hand the records to Screening.

The tool does

Fetches real records from public APIs and de-duplicates them across sources.

You must check

That the search is broad enough for your question — the tool can't know your full inclusion criteria.
Enter a query and press Search. Click any row to expand its abstract.
