Search Strategy Translator

Translate a PubMed search into Embase (Emtree) and Cochrane CENTRAL syntax. Field tags, MeSH, and operators are rewritten. This is a syntactic aid — always proof-read the output before running a real search.

Caveats:

MeSH → Emtree mapping uses a small built-in dictionary. Unmapped MeSH are emitted as free-text with a warning comment.
Embase /exp expands to narrower terms; PubMed MeSH major ≠ Embase major descriptors — review carefully.
Proximity operators (ADJn, NEAR) are not converted; use manual tuning.

PubMed field tags handled: [MeSH Terms], [Mesh], [tiab], [ti], [tw], [pt], [all]. Built-in MeSH→Emtree dictionary is minimal and focused on cardiology / pharmacology examples. This tool is a syntactic translator, not a concept mapper — you still need to review and tune the output.
